Can't comment on rooms as just went for breakfast. Food good. Service a little slow. Over medium eggs a little over done but not terrible. Will definitely give it another try.
We were only here for the restaurant, but our food was excellent and the service top notch. Beautiful view of the lake while you eat too.
Fish fry was excellent, nice and cripy! My wife raved about the fries. They were hot and crispy. Coleslaw needed to be chopped more. Too chunky
We happened to find Hayes Resort, (No room to spare in town) luckily ! Cottages on the lakeshore! Lotsa room, well supplied, beautiful views from huge picture window My wife and I shall return...hopefully more and more
Fantastic place to go for breakfast! Had the large farmers breakfast with a few friends up to visit ordering as well. All were done awesome, with different egg styles and sides. Owner and staff are very friendly and made sure everything was just right. I've had lunches and dinners as well when up on vacation and all are exactly what you would expect. Don't miss this place if you want great food and local hospitality!
Love staying at Hayes. Just being a pillow, a sheet and groceries and you are set for a stay on beautiful fox lake wisconsin. The ice fishing is phenomenal and Hayes Resort is located on the water a just minutes away from the public ramp. Zip out to the lake fish and come back for a coffee and relax by the cozy fireplace. Then rip back out and enjoy the night bite for walleye! Easy accessability makesHayes resort a must stay. We always try to eat the night we arrive at a resort and the night we leave. Food was great! Fish fry was on point the chef cheese curds hit the spot, sweet potatoes and waffle fries Hit the sandwiche recommendation from the bartender Henry the chicken came out with a fresh bun, grilled onion and cooked to perfection. The better half opted for the turkey club . We will be Spencer & Denise are great hosts making our stay memorable.
The Fox Lake Correctional Institution retirees held their gathering at the Hayes Resort. As always it was great to renew long standing friendships and catch up! The food was delicious and the bar was great as usual. Now that Covid has diminished the time was right to get together...and Hayes Resort didn't disappoint!
Good cozy place to destress and relax. Every time I go I always catch some fish and have a good laugh with the owner and his staff over a cocktail or two. Service is great and the food is delicious. The view over the lake is awesome.
